WHO IS BORPHOSIS INTERIOR?

Borphosis Interior is an online concept store curating contemporary and vintage pieces that promote global artisan work. We honor the integration of meaningful, handmade and timeworn objects into design, embracing their imperfections and the unique stories they carry.

My passion is helping you create holistic, organic and wellness-centered space that truly connect with who you are.

When you choose a piece from Borphosis Interior, you support emerging artisans and small business owners, impacting their lives, fueling their dreams and helping them to grow.

My name is Maria Belen and I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

After graduating as a Professor of Physical Education, I felt that something was missing in my life, and I decided to step out of my comfort zone and leave what I considered home behind. It was not an easy decision to leave everything behind from friends to family.

I immigrated to the USA in 2015 and settled in Florida. The first years were tougher than what I expected. I experienced many uncomfortable situations because of my limited knowledge of the English language, and because of being a newly arrived immigrant in this country. I was completely lost as a person and as a professional.

But regardless of all those situations, I remained determined and never lost faith in myself.

In the following years, I taught myself English and continued pushing my limits for personal growth.

One day, despite the fear of failure, I enrolled at the University of Miami to become a Certified Interior Designer, which also led me to become a Certified Stager.

My passion for art and deep appreciation for history motivates me to pursue my dream and create Borphosis Interior.

I know I have a long journey ahead, and I believe that the best is yet to come.
